And more painting plus a reefer add-on representing Perditrans from Belgium. It's a nice paint job so this is the first of 2 vehicles for this company.
-
2 more liveries for the Scania are coming together;
-
First paint of my Ecoliner trailer, inspired by the Herpa model in my archive Google let me find a picture of the trailer a few years earlier with a Scania 113m in front. https://www.truckfan.nl/picture/1038765/
My version isn't an exact copy, hence I say inspired on

PeterLustig; old times revive; I found my Herpa Arvchiv CD with their models upto 2010. So more inspiration

And only now I find they did make a Scania 143 with city trailer, I should even have this in my collection somewhere... but just having concluded the paints for the city, this may get a spot low on my to do list.

Hi all,
although UG announced the next update will mainly feature improvements on game play side I hope we can also get a feature that allows users to size of the asset settings menu. So that you can drag it to a size that suitable for the mod as well as your screen. Just like we can with for example the camera window. Since I see more and more mods are providing extensive settings options I believe such is a highly desired feature.
I expect the development effort for such to be quite limited, so I'm hoping that with sufficient likes on this thread UG will move this request from their Wish-list onto their To-Do-list for the coming update.
Please leave a like if you agree and we will await for the best
.#thanks@UG

Repainting the cab went smoother than expected
The UV map is quite complex, so I expected to need more time. -
Unfortunately I found very few images with Herpas box city trailer. But definitely using them as examples.
That gives me the idea for a Riwa trans for #5. For #6 I tend to a Dachser paint.
PS Wandt will be included for the DAF, only not sure yet when I finish those.
-
The first paint jobs are getting form, I aim to make at least 6 liveries for each trailer, here the first ones for the city trailer.

Allow me to leave a reply in English please.
All respect to Siri and I agree that it is fully up to you to request or require a refund for time and costs (of soft- & hardware, power, etc.). Probably all modders at some point will (re-)consider their options for such. I'm not sure if or to what extend revenues will be different for paid mods versus ones with just a donate request. If you do want to commercialize and get perhaps a little more than just costs returned I wonder want your business model is. Obviously the 'profit' is (mainly) going to be spent on investments for better modding. I wouldn't expect anyone to get rich from it, otherwise UG would have done that themselves already.
Some considerations/suggestions I'd like to provide are for instance to create early releases at a fee and later (perhaps a year) release them with some minor differences, kind-a-like I'd did with that Nissan Micra cargo version as a teaser for the cars of the 90s. It will allow you to grow your fan-base with people who just want to get familiar first.
Similarly you can make 'Exclusive' paid versions that are just a little better; more detail/use different textures/small extra feature. And still release the base for free.
Cooperating with companies who are interested in advertising their brand in a game might be an option as well, perhaps an employment agency may think some spend too much time on the game
.The main con for paid mods is that the majority of people will expect support and updates when required, also at times it may not suit you. Especially if you are alone that can become an issue or even a burden.
Looking forward to your mods, paid or not, and especially interested in your experiences once you have it going for a while. Hope you can update us on those in the future!

Rico S. At the moment the mesh of the crane isn't set to animate, but I will happily prepare one that can for you. No hurry perhaps drop me a PM when you're up to it and we can align the needs. But in that case I won't dig into it myself too much.
Until then plenty to do, like repaints, which for sure will lead to some addon features. I'm open for suggestions.
PS Individual steering is indeed not possible. agree. Although I still have 1 idea I need to try; using wheel-meshes with a 'wrong' pivot point, turning them upside down over the x-axle in theory will result to a reversed turn angle.
-
Next an inspired by Herpa wood truck with dolly and loading crane. I'm not going to animate the crane, if someone wants to then let me know.
I will see what works best for the dolly, I fear it won't be possible to load it on the back of the truck and only drag it behind when there is cargo on it... that needs some figuring out. Is it already known if custom cargo can use light and wheel options from the vehicle it is on?
-
A simple volume trailer based on Herpa example is being added to the Scania.
The 5th wheel is moved a bit backwards to stay clear from the trailer in sharp bends, quite a good fit :).
One or two more trailers and then I will start thinking about the paints for them.
Probably I'll make an asset per trailer type to be able to expand, it will be a while till I get to the asset, who knows I'll change my mind...
-
Cool, you're a step ahead of me it looks. An functional entry gate/barrier is on my to do list for a while, but I haven't done much on it yet.
-
There is are containers in the standard vanila items, not sure in which mod these are made available, think it's the Asset Mega Pack.
You'll also find them in a Schwarz Bau livery included in: DAF N2800 Truck with Herpa lowbed trailers
-
Agree with Katzer, although your Klauland already is legendary

-
I can now call a "Coming Soon!" on the Audi AVUS;
For the moment I've limited myself to German plates, so there will be only a German Road traffic variant.
-
I did look for the thumbs files but my system won't show them

Besides being obsolete they don't seem to pose an issue. -
The mods are updated in the download section and on Steam now.
