What am I getting wrong exactly? I am at a loss for words as regardless how I put it, it will not populate with the other contest photos.

Another Monday at the motor pool for a heavy mechanized unit stationed at Joint Base Baron as the personnel at the ARFF are doing their daily checks on there equipment. Pilots in their Euro Fighters are taxing as they prepare to conduct a training sortie. A C-130 is on the tail end of a final approach for 1 of 5 touch and goes, while two can be seen in the back ground waiting to have ammunition unloaded into the underground storage bunker dug deep into the mountain.

I didn't rebuy the vehicles. oops.

As it appears in the reworked mod description, it and the original are not compatible together. They both have file names that are the same that can cause conflict. So to my understanding, they are not compatible together.

After downloading. Follow the following path: merk_ice1_1 \ res \ models \ model \ vehicle \ train.

I went through all of the mdls, increasing the max speed, tractive effort, and horsepower. This didn't change a thing, unfortunately. I don't think anything speed related would be located in the other files either as they are either sound, or related to the various components.

It is getting late for me, so I must turn in for the night. I can attempt again tomorrow, maybe someone else more knowledgeable can explain.

You guys have came up with some great paint jobs. Unfortunately in the US, we only have basic liveries on our cars and locomotives with the exception to some passenger trains and tram, schemes honoring something which are very limited, and our limited railroad heritage throw backs.

Yes, it is possible to change the speed inside the files. Which trains are you trying to increase. I can try to walk you through it.

If you installed the original Grimes model, you will have to decide which one you wish to use. In SkyJoe's mod description:

Danger!!

-> This mod requires a clean, clean installation and must not be installed over other older mods! There must also be no parallel mods, since the original Grimes mod has the same file names, otherwise there will be errors or CTD!"

Try disabling the original Grimes model and see if this will fix your issue. To be absolutely safe, I would delete both models and freshly install a new download of this one.

I just downloaded the car, and put it on my test map. The doors appear to open and close properly. On mine.

A. I think the Kenworth would be really cool, as that is a flatbed with trailer. I don't think we had many, if any of the two steering axle versions here in the US. Do not quote me but I think those may have been from Aussie land. Not sure at all if these ever made it into Europe past a few one off instances. Someone please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

B. I really like the Scania's trailer with sides covering the wheels giving it that streamlined appearance. After looking the truck up, I see that it was meant to be streamlined in the very early 90s. Most everything I am trying to model is late 80s to early 2000 when looking at vehicles.

C. The DAF 55, late 90s? does add to a segment that we have few offerings in, actual box trucks. Currently I am only aware of the Renault Magnum and a Scania models being available outside of some tippers beyond the 80s. The closest thing we have are like sprinters or transit vans.

I can use all three of them, but I would get the most use currently out of the DAF 55. I may have talked the local governance into not allowing combination vehicles into the villages and small towns in an effort to keep rail freight profitable.
