Siri Absolutely love your TPF2 content. Urban Assets has been a big help for populating some of my industries, and will continue to do so for some time. Thank you.

And all this time, I have been sitting here thinking that THW was a state asset with a standardized livery that covered all. Pardon my American lack of knowledge, but I fear you guys are going to get me watching more YouTube videos instead of being productive today.

    I like electronic 8)

I too like electronic, especially when it is accompanying a siren.

Grimes and Cadoras , your trucks and paint jobs are beautiful. My current map build is, I feel, I little to modern for them. How ever, I do have a few local businesses that have done restoration mods to some of their classics for deliveries, and their donations to display at my yet to be named museum.

    Oh, and this:

The different types of fields are a real feast for the eyes. Especially not this radioactive yellow anymore!

Really great work - I'm really looking forward to it.

I too love seeing more and more field textures coming out. Farming Simulator is my other primary game of choice. And I now have an idea now for the nuclear plant assets now that you have pointed out the radioactive yellow.

UnixRoot, I think what you guys have done is spot on in terms of the distance and bluing as seen in your photos. It reminds me of the same atmospheric affects that are placed on the Mt Rainier and the Olympics as seen from the Tacoma, WA area, when its not cloudy and raining. Water colors would be a pain to please everyone. Where I am from in SC, you can drive 30 miles and get over 8 different colorations depending on the geology of the rivers themselves without looking at weather affects. So I say great job.

    I have a quick question for more intelligent people ... : D

How much does a large map (e.g. 24x24km) affect the performance even if it remains largely empty? Or does it make no difference at all whether it is large or small if only very little of it is built in anyway?

    LG ;)

Long story short in a way I can best describe it: It will all depend on how your computer is built and set up. For instance, I don't overclock anything on my system, with the settings for the RAM being an exception due to what my sticks are capable of for other tasks. But it is possible for someone with components that are slightly older or a step down at stock levels to overclock their system and achieve higher performance out of it. With appropriately matched CPU, GPU, RAM, and mobo, a 9900k is generally going to destroy an 8400 cpu in terms of performance. Can't give an honest opinion of AMD components of the last 5 years as a comparison as my last AMD laptop was a nightmare and took me back over to Team Blue. Nor can I speak of how this could affect frame rates if your monitor is older as well.

But I don't think that a basic large vs small map is going to have that great of an effect on performance, unless you really go overboard with the detailing, on a newer built system. Older systems could be strained based on the game settings that you are using as well.

    Hope this helps.
