Dunkel , thank you much, the pipes work and Stellwerk building will work out nicely.

Ingo-1111 , you have made some great mods, and with your latest rocks and boats, I am having to decide on revisiting some areas I though I had moved on from. I have a hotel that is by the river with a yet to be worked on river front and numerous places where the rocks can be used to shore up roadbeds or sit at the edge of the right of way. I can't wait to see what you create next.

At least from my experience riding the rails in the US, both on main and secondary / branch lines , I have seen the tall and short grass come up to the edge of the ballast bed in many places. The exception is when a weed sprayer has came through or a ditch has been cut on one or both sides of the track. A couple of industry sidings I have worked has grass growing nearly everywhere with the exception at the switches. There are also places that I have seen a path that is wider than a trucks width for maintenance for access to a signal or siding. With the weed spraying, as little as a few rain cycles can start the regrowth affect of vegetation to the edge again. The width that is sprayed varies such as when there is a corn field or pasture right beside the right of way.
UnixRoot , I like the look of your last photos, the slight mixture on the edges gives a good transition for what I have seen as never being an absolute perfect uniformity in the edge. You can't please everyone due to game limitations and differences in areas modeled. I like the tracks and ballast beds that you have been working on, so I use them repainting the ground textures where I want to see wider or less gravel. Keep up the fine work.

Thanks to some of the above posts, I just spent the past two hours trying to decipher photos, Google Earth where possible at crossings and where the road runs parallel to the tracks, and technical data, just to try to figure out where Y sleepers may or should be used. I am afraid I will be back at it tomorrow after I get some school work finished, but I do thank you all for putting the thought process in my head.

dview , I have the Baustellenfarzeuge mod, but haven't used the compactor due to its size. How hard was it to resize it to a more life like size? And that looks pretty baller.

And he has thrown in a Mammoet livery to boot. Loving your creations.

JoFi Thanks, we are on the same page.

I just got the very latest update, and oh my gods, thank you so very much for what you are doing with this. I just spent two hours re-sowing some fields and re-seeding grass in some places.

Congrats JoFi, I loved the angle in which you got the photo. I think it captured the scene well.
When you say backyards, just so I make sure I understand, you are talking about behind the house where swing sets or a pool would go?

Vulgaris Magistralis beautiful i like this music.

Same here, it has forced me to get up and dance again. Something I haven't done for too many years.

I have just fenced in a field that will allow a farmers cattle to graze without them getting away, and I added a pond as a water source for said cows. This is just 15 or so meters higher in elevation than the river within eye sight down the hill.
As I do not really want to create a stream around here, I am looking for recommendations for a water pump/small pump house building that I could place down by the river to pump the water up hill for the cows pond. What do you think I could use? I don't really like the look of the concrete pipe already.
