I got the mod to load, and found the config for the track. I was able to add some space between the tracks. My next question is, what would control the ballast texture and the ballast color/texture bleeding over to different tracks laid beside it? The "ballast" texture that normally comes under the track set changes to this brown color instead of the standard grey. I have zero clue where to look as this is my first try at changing anything in this game.

The tracks on the right are the 760mm Infrastructure track. The area in which this track sets has been shift painted to the grid so I could see how the track bed changed easily.

Did you change the name of the mod in the mod.lua? Maybe it doesn't work if there are two mods with the same name?

I did attempt to change the name, both of the folder and in the mod.lua.

Hi, you could check this:

• Is the mod folder ending with "_1" (underscore + a number)
• Is the mod.lua directly under the mod folder (no subfolders)?
• Is the mod.lua still a ".lua"-file or has you text editor added a ".txt" (e.g. mod.lua.txt)?

also (may not be relevant in your case as I assume the original mod is not in your user mod folder):

• The name of the folder you placed your mod-version in should have a different name than the original mod (changing only the number will make the game think it is only a version of the same mod and it will take the newer one, no matter what is written in the mod.lua)

The mod folder wasn't named ending in a _1. Thank you.

I have located and made a copy of the Tallylyn Railway Mod Pack that I got off of Steam, so I can try to modify the track's ballast, both it's color and how it will change any adjacent tracks ballast color. I know how to change the colors, but my question is what do I need to do to make it show up in the in game directory? I have placed it in my user mods folder already, but it will not show up in game for me to activate. I would rather have my own personal copy incase the author updates and changes things, or removes it from Steam.

The only color that I have found that I really do not like is white. It generally always comes across entirely bright, nearly glowing. This may be an issue though on my end as it is not just your models that do it, but most all mods that are white are super bright.

Lord Raccoon , I think you make a valid point on the winner sitting out the next competition given that they choose the theme. I have saw some good aviation themed photos in the Gallery, should be a good competition.

Houses are cheap, I Don't know what you mean for cheap. I saw some TV transmission about "buy and restore the house", something so American like that. Yeah, tbh houses in US are very expensive... My God.

For an Italian villager, houses are expensive here (expecially in big cities but that is pretty much normal in the entire world). You may also find houses that are costing more or less like a premium car (60-80k euros) but they are located in very small and diseased towns.

Do you have in mind to come live here? Are you oom? (out of mind)

I live in Tacoma, WA, was in Los Angeles, CA prior to here. A little bitty run down shitbox the size of my Mini can run over $200k US. A new house in a subdivision generally starts at $400k and the sky is the limit. Then add property taxes that are running wild on top of that. I am perfectly okay with little small towns though. I grew up in a small town and already have a pension from the military that I can rely on monthly. Getting super tired of all the idiots here in the US, and their idiot rules(figure that is a world wide thing). More or less, I'm thinking anywhere that has internet connectivity so I can work. But yes, depending on who you ask, I may be oom and Italy is on the list of places that I am considering.

Do we have a topic for next month? I don't think I am that good, and don't know the first thing about filters.... But I would like to try.

So are things broken in Italy? I see articles here in the US always talking about getting houses and such for pretty cheap over there. I should finish college at the end of the year, and be a "professional programmer".

dview , would it be possible to change the "driver and codriver" out in these, or at least some of them, for fireman, medics, soldiers? I don't know if the author would allow it, but I do know they exist in the person asset 1 and 2.
