    Danke für das Video! Habe ich überprüft: bei mir stehen dort immer noch die kleineren (originalen) Werte:

    game.config.terrainToolMinStrength = 5

    game.config.terrainToolMaxStrength = 100

    game.config.terrainToolMaxSize = 16

    game.config.terrainPainterMaxSize = 256

    game.config.terrainToolMaxSizeEditor = 256

    game.config.terrainPainterMaxSizeEditor = 256

    game.config.assetBrushMaxSize = 256

    Eine Suche im Verzeichnis "mods" förderte aber dieses Ergebnis zutage:

    Code
    grep -i "game.config.terrainToolMinStrength" * -R
    pl_baukasten_1/mod.lua:         game.config.terrainToolMinStrength = 10

    Und darin steht u.a.:

    Code
       runFn = function (settings)
                   game.config.terrainToolMinStrength = 10
                   game.config.terrainToolMaxStrength = 1024
                   game.config.terrainToolMaxSize = 1024
                   game.config.terrainPainterMaxSize = 1024
                   game.config.terrainToolMaxSizeEditor = 1024
                   game.config.terrainPainterMaxSizeEditor = 1024
                   game.config.assetBrushMaxSize = 1024
        end

    Kann ich die gesamte Funktion problemlos löschen oder stürzt die Mod und damit das Spiel dann irgendwann ab?

    Was mir am besten an dem Video gefällt: auf den Werksgelände sind eigene LKW-Ladeplätze! Das sieht wirklich sehr toll aus. :)

    Wenn es jetzt noch die Möglichkeit geben wird, auch Gleise auf die Werksgelände zu legen, damit Züge dort be-/entladen werden könnte, wäre das perfekt!

    Was m.M.n auf alle Fälle verbessert werden muss, sind die oft sehr hässlichen "Straßenanbindungen" von Stationen und Gebäuden. Und damit meine ich sowohl diese wie Gichtfinger aussehende Wegstücke zwischen einem Werk oder einer Station und der zugehörigen Straße, als auch die Art der Anbindung selber. Poller sind z.B. fast immer völlig fehl am Platz. Ich kenne kein Bahnhofsgebäude, das direkt an einen Bürgersteig grenzt und davor eine Reihe Poller stehen hat. Stationen und Gebäude sollte nahtlos, also ohne sichtbaren Zwischenraum, an einer Straße gebaut werden können. Also im Prinzip genau das, was mit der Mod "no_collision" möglich ist. Nur eben halt als Standardmöglichkeit.

    Jein: wenn es um BÜ in der Stadt des Abfahrbahnhofs geht, könnte man durch die Nutzung langsamer Gleise im Bahnhof und direkt dahinter, also im Stadtgebiet, einen Zug zum langsamen Fahren zwingen, so dass ein Signal direkt an der Bahnhofsausfahrt Zeit genug hat, auf die Schranken zu wirken.

    Moin!

    Ich weiß nicht, wie es passiert ist, aber in freien Spielen ist das Malwerkzeug bzw das Werkzeug zum Geländerformen nach dem Aufrufen stets fast halb so groß wie die gesamte Karte. Auch, wenn ich es dann auf ein vernünftiges Maß verkleinere, ist es beim nächsten Öffnen wieder so riesig.

    In den Missionen ist das nicht so. Könnte eine Mod dahingehend den Startwert für die Größe verstellt haben?

    Der Strecke zwischen einem Signal und einen Bahnübergang muss größer als die Zeit des Bremswegs des Fahrzeugs bei höchster gefahrene Geschwindigkeit sein

    Bei einem ICE mit 300 km/h wird das aber eine seeeeeehr lange Strecke. Bei den kleinen Entfernungen, die das Spiel abbildet (~10km) müsste da jede Schranke auf der Strecke zum Ziel schon unten sein, bevor der Zug überhaupt abfährt. ;)

    Haltende Fahrzeuge an Stationen wird man aber mit dem System von TPF2 nie dazu bringen auf einen Bahnübergangs zu warten

    Es sei denn, man könnte noch auf dem Bahnhof, direkt an der Ausfahrt, ein Signal setzen und dann bis zum BÜ keines mehr. :/

    I've not been playing this game for long myself, but I like to share a few thoughts. There are a few things you could check:

    - As far as I can see I think the truck station is too far away from the bakery. Are you sure it's connected to the facility?

    - Your screen shot says the food plant IS producing food, but its need for grain is higher than the provided amount. Did you check the supply chain? Is grain coming in on a constant rate, enough for keeping the factory from running empty?

    - It's possible the truck station and the train station are too far away from each other. I experienced this behaviour as well, and I was able to solve the problem by connecting two stations by the use of an extra road. Just the smallest road possible will do the trick, even if it's just a small pedestrian way or a one way road.

    - The opposite can be true as well: maybe the produced food just "chooses" the fastest transport available within reach. Meaning: if there's both a truck station and a train within reach to the facility, why should the produced food take a truck in the first place? From the game's point of view, that doesn't make much sense.

    - If you choose to combine trucks and trains, why do you place the truck station that far away from the facility? If you do want to use a combination of trucks and trains, you should place the truck station attached directly to the factory and see that the train station is NOT connected to the factory.

    - Did you buy the right kind of trucks to transport food? Did you order them to pick up AND UNLOAD(!) the right kind of goods?

    - Did you order your trucks to wait for a full load at their station before driving to the train station? If so, just send the first truck in line to the train station by clicking the return symbol, even if it has not loaded a single loaf of bread. Sometimes a combined transport chain needs some kind of kick in the a... to get started properly.

    Finally, I would like to advice you to take a look at the mods that can be found in the download area. There are many mods that will be of great help and relief in a free game. The game is really great, but it's my impression that the makers might have been thinking: "let the players do most of the work, we just provide the very basics!" The game comes with just the absolute minimum of buildings,vehicles and roads needed to actually play the game. But only the mods provided by all the passionate modders will finally get you the icing!

    There's a mod called "Spitzkehre" which I use most of the times whenever I want to build a train station near a factory. Technically, a "Spitzkehre" is a dead end track for trains, used to change directions, eg. when climbing up a hill without the need for large curves and turns. This mod, however, can be set to allow connection to a factory, and then it will act as a station, but without the need for any building. It is just a piece of track that a train can use to load or unload and you can attach it directly to a factory, making it look a bit like it really belongs to that factory. It's one of my favourite mods for this game! :)

    Der Bahnübergang wird geschlossen,

    sobald ein Zug intern via ecs::TrainMoveSystem::IsReservedWithinBrakeDistance einen Pfad auf einer zu dem Bahnübergang gehörigen Edge reserviert hat.

    Ägypten? :/

    Kannst Du das einmal für Nicht-Programmierer erklären? Ergeben sich daraus Möglichkeiten für den normalen Spieler, Einfluss auf das Verhalten zu nehmen, z.B. durch geschickten Bau?

    Sackgasse?! "WG" ist eigentlich kein richtiges Wort, sondern eine Abkürzung, was es schwierig macht, damit ein anderes sinnvolles Wort beginnen zu lassen. :/ Wir sollten eine Regel einführen: wer die Wortkette in eine Sackgasse führt, muss 5 Euro in die Forumskasse zahlen! ^^
