Well now that the Standard 7 is done, on to the next project.
I'm not keeping it secret this time.
The LMS Fowler 4F is a 0-6-0 steam locomotive designed for medium freight work. They were a modified Midland Railway 3835 Class, which entered production in 1911. About 770 of these locomotives were built between 1911 and 1941, serving on the LMS until all of them were entered into British Rail stock in 1948 where they quickly spread across Britain. The 4Fs finally started to be withdrawn in 1959 and the last one was withdrawn in 1966.
3 survive in preservation.
