Besides a few more liveries, which I'll reveal later, I also made a second variant for the tipper truck. It now is a Ginaf truck with a raised cab, off-road tyres and a new tipper body.
Bko mods - mainly road vehicles, occasionally other stuff

Here the (first) liveries for the concrete mixer and tipper versions.
Next I'll start with a some truck, uhm sattlezug, versions of the day cab. But still more repaint/variance ideas keep coming to mind
-
WOW! They look really good again! Are you making one package of the current Daf project? ...or are the construction vehicles in a separate one?
-
Casa intention is to make it one mod, but will see when I get to the asset. If all are in one it can have an overall random, but it will be more complex and usage should remain somewhat consistent and intuitive. So we'll see, for now I have plenty to do on the driving versions, all still require a bit of detailing like licence plates interiors.
-
I've also seen those, but do not yet know what causes them. In game I see no notable effects.
The game recognizes the texture but doesn't support the format and changes it to one it knows.
This changed texture can then be found in the texture cache. You can then rename this to the name of your own texture and then replace it in your own folder.
I do this with my HDR textures. Since I can't save my textures in the DDS format that the game makes of them.
DDS formats I can export to do not support the HDR properties I want.
I created a map for this purpose, in which the game does not criticize any other textures, just to have mine adjusted.

The sattlezug variants with the day cab are ready for a test drive.
Not sure if I will add these to the base mod or make it an add-on mod. The con. of an add-on is it will cause users need multiple related mods activated in proper sequence when I release the other trucks...
But next step is at least to separate these from my development mod and then the asset can be done.
-
And more Dutch vehicles. Now I'm considering a Dutch map, but I don't know where to find the time for it. Many thanks for your great work again!

I've progressed this weekend with adding the sattlezug trucks to the asset menu. And been a bit creative with creating more variance, I made more liveries for the swap-bodies but also this, a 4axle tarp truck with the loading crane
-
With a few days off I now had the time to make the asset for the Swap bodies. Features are the usual so of course doors open and studs can be in up or down position. I also added a bit of randomization to show different colours for the studs or even a different door. Most of these will be available with flat and with ribbed side walls. Also added a covered version for which I have two liveries done.
-

Really cool!

I did a bit of catching up, being I made a standard version of the modified FAW trucks from my Schwarz Bau pack.
Also a version with my swap body is in the making, that will come as a separate mod a little later.
-
Here is already a next "Coming Soon!!"
The swap bodies asset pack is uploaded, as otherwise I will just keep adding more stuff . I have one request though. As I decided creating a catalogue for these is a little bit too much since then I'd need to essentially remake all models just to get a proper screenshot with the model editor. My urgent request to you is for some images that I may use for the presentation on Steam. I bet you can do better than my attempt to quickly create a small DSV site
-
Klasse .

Whenever I think that the topic of trucks has been exhausted after all, you go one step further and prove the opposite!

By the time truck mods get as divers as train mods I may start to agree, plenty of things to add. I already have more trailer models in mind.
-
Yes, there are still quite a few models, especially when I think of the Mercedes trucks alone!
Add to that all the trailer types - there's quite a bit coming together!
But diversity never hurt!
