Hi Gwinda
It would be nice if you could integrate the status bar that opens in a new window when you install a mod into the main window as a green or what ever bar at the bottom of the modlist
And i am getting a weird error message when i add a new Mod with the new mod system?!
Gonna try to capture the error message but it was a violation error with the memory and number 000000Edit:
Got it

I think I have fixed this. The crash I fixed was that I had forgot to check for tga format when displaying the image in TFGM.
When using TFGM, you can still use png, bmp, gif, jpg with the new mod format. TFGMm converts them automatically to tga when enabled. The fix will be there in next TFGM update.

With the new version of tfgm
[Blockierte Grafik: http://fs1.directupload.net/images/150304/temp/9gs8ooy6.jpg]I guess grimes has to fix this? Or is it tfgm?

TFGM removes non 7bit ASCII characters from the mod ID when converting from TFGM or TFMM formats. The mod ID becomes the mod folder under Train Fever/mods/
If the mod doesn't need conversion (it is already in the new format) it is copied exactly from its original. It is a known bug that TF crash if the mod folder name have non 7bit ASCII characters. It is up to the modder to choose a valid mod ID when creating mods for the new system.
This will eventually be fixed in TF, to accept UTF8 file names. -
Wo? Welche ini? In den mods von grimes sind in den inis keine umlaute.

If it is in the new format it is the mod folder name that has to be changed to only use 0-9, a-z or A-Z characters.

Can you post a link to the mod so I can have a look?I have that mod here. I fixed so TFGM will convert the mod ID to 7bit. Are you using the latest TFGM? I published one today. -

The name of the mod is XL_Truck_Station_by_Grimes_1.3. Can't find anything wrong in it.
I have 0.8.7.39 - 1242. Latest?

Yes, that's the one. I had that mod as a test case and it works fine here.
After the mod has been enabled the mod ID (and folder name) is grimes_xltruckstationfrlkw40tonner_1 It shows correct in TF manager and works fine i a new game.
The archive name of the mod I have is XL_Truck_Station_by_Grimes_1.3.zip -

Deleting everything and install anew with tfgm worked. I can play with my savegames.

Hi Gwinda,
There is another thread there a user said that TFGM need necessarily the steam-path but there is Trainfever version from GOG without steam there TFGM don't work because of this.
I can not confirm this i have the steam-version, maybe the user just do something wrong. Maybee someone else can test it?
Regards MAik

No, TFGM will not work on any other system than Steam because of its use of Steam features.
I'm currently in contact with a GoG user to include GoG installs as well. -
v0.91.1.55 -1251
Scan mods/ folder for installed mods not yet registered in TFGM. New mods will be compressed, put in the TFGM library and registered in TFGM.
The scan can be performed automatically at startup or manually from the Files menu. This can be configured in TFGM Preferences->General tab.For everyone using TFGM 0.90.1.53 - 1250 and onwards will get this new version pushed out automatically on next update check.

At the moment both require the Steam version.
