So I went with the two car units, simply because I got them to work first.
the to do list for class 156 is:
add the LOD (the mesh is finished, but not added to the mdl or uv map yet)- split the connection betwenn the two trains in meshes and own groups for fake boogies
get the door animations to work (again )This took me a fucking dayadd soundI use the default sounds, If you have a better solution feel free to contributeadd particle effectsbalance the whole thing <- if you have any ideas on this please share them-> I found this, think the job is done Fahrzeugdaten-Rechnerrelease a betado one or two other liveriesrelease the files for repainting

[REQ] I'm stuck and need some help please. I have some major problems with my LOD
It just displays the second one mentioned in the mdl. ( I tried switching them)
Ich bräuchte bitte etwas Hilfe. Mir machen die LODs Probleme, es wird immer nur das erste LOD in der mdl dargestellt. Auch wenn ich die Reihenfolge änder.

I read about misformed 3 car units here http://members.madasafish.com/…56/class156_misformed.htm the question is do you guys want this option or do you prefer the complete two car unit in the depot.
I Would prefer to have a complete 2 car unit in the depot. There is a problem with train formation when using the 'replace vehicle' utility in game. -
I need help, again. How do I stop my door meshes from behaving weird?
I tried fake boogies, not sure if I did this right tho...Ich brauche nochmal eure Hilfe und zwar verhalten sich meine Türmeshes nicht so wie ich das will. Sie bewegen sich immer zwischen dem ersten und letzten boogie

Vorher waren die Türen in groups der goup für die beiden bodies zugeordnet.Dann taten es aber die Türanimationen nicht. also hab ich versucht es anders zu lösen
Mit msh in der mdl hab ichs auch probiert da wird dann aber nicht angezeigt...

Die Türen müssen in die entsprechenden grp.
Und dann musst du in der Group und in der MDL entsprechen die Eventeinträge schreiben.
In der MDL die Nummern bezogen auf die Group und in der grp dann bezogen auf die Meshs. -
Also
- mdl mit eventeinträgen bezogen auf die group
- group mit eventeinträgen bezogen aufs mesh
- mesh mit der animation

Genau.
Wobei du glaub in der mdl alle Events als forward = true definieren solltest und dann in der group für das Schließen forward = false.
Sonst dreht er die Animation 2 mal rum, und Minus x Minus gibt ja bekanntlich Plus.Kannst dir z.B. mal die Br 78 anschauen, da ist die Animation auch in der mdl und dann in der grp.

I think i could release it as a beta. However I did not have the time yet to adapt it to the new modding system. Auf you all don't mind I could release a version Over the weekend.

nachdem ich jetzt ne Weile nicht zu modden gekommen bin, wollte ich heute was weiter machen und Fehler in der mdl auszubüglen. Mein aktuelles PRoblem sind die Zuweisungen der particle emitters. Ich schaffe es irgendwie nicht ihnen die richtige nummer zu geben, deshalb wüsste ich gerne, wie TF die children zählt oder ob ich die particle emitters anders einbinden kann.die mdl:

I released a beta version of the Class 156. Please give me some feedback on it, so that I know what still needs to be improved.

Hi,
- Startyear for reverse unit is 1950
- forward unit--> capacity is too high (152 vs. 76 for reverse unit)Modell:
- Numbers on front are mirrored & at wrong side, they should be on right side
- Some more details at Front would be nice, like doorhandle, handles and wipers and maybee some small details like doorbuttons and labels at side
- At this side you can find some fine pictures for the scotish Class 156
- Bogies are a bit (too?) simple, u can look through train
- acceleration is a bit low- Error while buying it, where is a missing file. TF says: models/group/vehicle/train/bogie back.grp is missing
Edit: OK, fixed error for now (just4me), copied the file from models/group/vehicle/train/Class 156 to models/group/vehicle/train
Otherwise I like the model very well, finally something decent British

the mirrored front is now fixed and the Class156r.mdl is deleated, it wasn't supposed to be released.
I edited the body.grp so the error you descriped should no longer happen.
can you make a screenshots and mark what exactly bothers you about the boogies?
The only detailed photo I could find of the boogie itself is this http://members.madasafish.com/…6/class156_underframe.htm and as far as I can the more details would mainly be a lot of pipelike stuff which might kill the poly count.At the moment I don't have a computer that is able to run Train Fever.
