The color scheme for the LMS jinty (class 3F) is very simple, the LMS and BR both painted them plain, usually very dirty, black (don't be fooled by some preserved locos and the Hornby '00' model in crimson lake!), the only thing that ever changed was LMS text graphics, the BR logos and the loco numbers. These locos were used everywhere on the LMS system, replacing most of the older shunting locos inherited by the LMS from it's constituent companies. They were based on an earlier design from the Midland Railway inherited by the LMS.
See: https://www.google.co.uk/searc…loco47406.htm%3B816%3B612
PS: The 'Thomas the tank engine' is a a purely imaginary loco created by the author of the stories, and not based on any particular prototype. I don't see why one would want this in the Train-Fever game! -
'cause it brings back childhood memories.

A black LMS version would be even better! All that needs changing is the an LMS in place of the BR logo on the tank and subtract 40000 from the LMS number on the bunker.
LMS version available 1925-1947.
BR version available 1948-1960
Heritage version available from 1961 onwards. -
That would be an option, but first I got to figure out why these goddamn animations won't work like I want them toThey are working now.
-
Can I take this as the basic main Colour? What do you all think?
-
the sort of shiny effect looks a bit over the top.
-
Yes, it needs to have a matte weathered look, sooty and dirty.
-
I know that, this is a texture i put five minutes oft work in. I just wanted to see if the basic colour is alright
-
My tip is a very dark gray.
I know that the steamers are mostly black. But in game it looks not realy good.
For exempl look at my br01.5
The main color is #000 and i think it is look like a black box.
I think a dark gray is better to see all the details, dirt.
I hope it helps you a litle bit.
And sorry for my Lothar Matthäus english

I worked on the texture and I have to say, that the only way to make it look acceptable is by making it look really worn and used.

-
It is currently awaiting moderation.

What would you think about the Merchant Navy Class as my next Project, or rather a 1950s Diesel?
