Steam just offered me Transport Fever pre-order for November (corrected) 8...$26.00.
Ordered!
It sure would be nice if the game supported multi monitors.
Imagine the main screen showing the map, with the other smaller train-view and line windows being on a second monitor.
It would help de-clutter your main viewing screen.

Does that translator automatically translate every page you go to?
That is what I like about the Edge app...it will translate real time as you are browsing pages. You open a page in German and in a couple seconds, the page is translated. Sometimes the translation is broken, but for me, it is certainly understandable.
This coming from the USA...where other country languages are not really dealt with in our education system.
I hate that attitude...that the rest of the world should be able to speak English. So rude!
Hello all...
I just posted several rail repair vehicles in my Album "Railroad Repair Vehicles".
I also posted a few photos of handcars...another vehicle I think someone should try.
Not much for specifications anywhere to be found...only photos.
Jerry
I have uploaded several train car images in gallery albums..."Railway Photos".
I also had a link to a Train Sim page which also had many Ringling Brothers Circus Train Car images...above...
If you do a search for "Circus Poster Photos", you also get many images which would look nice on the sides of boxcars, passenger cars, or whatever...
Here are a few links to Circus Train Cars and trains...videos and images...

The Great Circus Train, Baraboo, WI - 2
RR Picture Archive…Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Rolling Stock Photographic Roster
I have also uploaded several Circus Train Cars to my Circus Train Gallery...
I can understand the issues with edge...I also have a few concerning how Edge will not work with Norton Antivirus full protection.
But in this case, I will overlook the issues if I can more easily read the forum posts, since i rarely read posts because of all the hoops one needed to jump through before.
I had another thought...or Mod wish, I should probably say.
I was thinking it would be cool to be able to assemble a Circus Train.
Circus train wagons with animals, cages, Circus logos, and the like would be nice.
I could provide some photos for someone interested in doing the technical work. I don't have the expertise or knowledge to create the final mods, but could certainly aid in the selection of appropriate car photos.
Thoughts anyone?
Jerry
Hello All...
One reason this thought crossed my mind is because The Circus World Museum is here in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
This was the Winter home of The Ringling Brothers Circus...and others.
The few circus train cars and the many old circus wagons are restored and displayed on-site.
Been there many times.
Great fun!
Hello all...
FYI...for those in the USA (and maybe other countries...I'm not sure there tho)...it has always been a frustration to know I was missing so much in the forums, and other site pages, because I was not able to understand German. And doing a paragraph-by-paragraph translation was very time-consuming.
SOLUTION:
Using Microsoft Edge as your browser, you can install their translation extension app and then you may set it up to automatically translate the page you are viewing.
FINALLY...being able to read anything on this site with ease is very cool.
Thank you bill Gates...smiles.
Jerry
I was looking but could not find it...
Has anyone done the Orient Express cars and engine?
Jerry
What we need are railroad repair vehicles. That field is full of possibilities.
And...Wouldn't a hand car would be cool?
Jerry
Thanks...and by-the-way...we call it a pacifier...not a soother...smiles.
Hello all...
Not understanding German, I need to rely on my BING translator to read most of the posts. And sometimes you need a translator to translate the translation...smiles.
A recent example:
Is translated into:
So this is a map look, try the last not 5 minutes. If you think this is a virus please let. I think I should not upload here, what kind of a circus. Nothing escapes you, if you do not download the map.
Anyway...Just sayin'.

Hello...
I have a very capable system (i7 4770, 32 Gb RAM, dual NVidia 660 video) and enjoy the game very much. Up to a point.
So, I build a medium-sized world with about 10 cities and a couple industries producing. Each city has a complete tram system with a lot of activity. I also have about 10 rail systems going between and connecting cities.
But i get to a point where so much activity going on with my map development, the game becomes too laggy to really enjoy for long. So at one point it becomes really unplayable, even to simply watch the trains do their thing. So, I scrap that map and start a new one.
And the cycle continues with the new map...and it gets too laggy...and I start a new map. Repeat...Repeat...Repeat.
The only difference may be a new train locomotive...or new station design on the new map.
Oh well...the building of the rail systems are worth it I guess.
Wish i could really enjoy each finished system more tho.
And I can't imagine the agony if I had a lesser computer system to play with. I count my lucky stars in that respect.
Just a comment.

Hello all...
For a long time now (several months--probably since I upgraded to Win 10), I had been frustrated because when I tried in-game graphics settings of 1920x1080 (which my system is capable of). The screen would be incorrectly displayed. I was always needing to run the game in Windowed Mode, and was still not seeing the very bottom of the screen where the game speed buttons are.
Today I discovered, you should not have your Windows 10 "Customize Your Display" settings set to anything other than 100% where you can "Change the size of text, apps, and other items". I WAS at 125%.
After changing this setting back to 100%, I was able to run the game in 1920x1080 mode with no loss of screen icons or window size.
Live and learn.

Wouldn't it be nice to hear a train's whistle more often. Like when a train is approaching a railroad crossing intersection...or when two trains pass each other?
