Hi everyone! I've just joined the community even though I 've been downloading mods here since last year, but today I thought I may also help to make this beautiful place even richer!
Over the last year I have been noticing that there is a big lack of Italian trains, and that's very much understandable because, as far as I have seen, almost all of the members are from Germany, Austria or Switzerland. I love how I basically turned my TPF game into a "DB Railroad Simulator", but I think I can try to make some interesting Italian models (at least for some diversity), as a thank you letter for all the modders here.
I'd love to learn how to make mods, and I've found good help from websites, from reverse engineering mods and from videos such as YstlDystl's stream on YouTube and as I'm learning how to mod, I decided to make some buffers typically found in Italy, made by rail pieces. The mesh is done, the UV mapping too, the textures are (almost) finished, I exported using Blender's TPF exporter but i still can't get the model to work.
That's why I'm here to ask you if you can help me learning a bit. I'm also starting University, so my working pace will be slow, but eventually something will be out for you! That's a promise.
