Well for Germany a different convoy will be included; featuring 2 marked Polizei cars, an unmarked E-class, a limo style LS400 for the VVIP and a 4runner for support staff.
Bko mods - mainly road vehicles, occasionally other stuff

At first glance, this reminds me of either a VVIP (read Head of State) convoy, or il Padrone on an outing.
Thanks for the idea, repainted a vanila Lincoln town car. So that is; Mafia will be included
, otherwise all that police will just be bored as well. -
The Polizei Golf is now also available on steam. It is a different mod that can be combined with the one available here, therewith you have some control over the Polizei presence on your map.
The steam version has two male Polizei men, a different license plate and is just a tiny fraction faster

Just discovered the Golf the day before yesterday when it cruised as KI car through my city. So cool. Thanks a lot!

Hi All,
I've updated a few of my Cars of the 90's mods. Generally you'll have no need to update and they are just consistency updates to align Steam and tpf.net with my own. The corrections made are mainly small like a material that was set to double sided unnecessary on the 4runner. On the road traffic taxis I found a few materials got missing in my steam versions, with only minor impact, just one vehicle spawning less at most, so corrected all that & all should be fine now. Of course; The steam versions are also updated.
More important is the update bound to come for the 90's base pack, because that will contain a few objects required for the Dispatch pack. It will be Germany only, not sure if and when other countries will follow, NL is on my list of course. Anyway expecting the final test runs to start for that now. Then the catalogue and description and it is ready for uploading

hmm now doubting if I should not add a crew feature for the asset... I thought to leave it out...
-
Besides some files for the dispatch vehicles the update on the Cars of the 90's will include 3 additional vehicles.
The Benz is part of the Dispatch pack where it has a pop-up emergency light, the Lexus comes in Limo version with a small animation and the Volvo uses cheaper rims as I also did in the Sweden road traffic mod.

Ha, I just noted I had set the Land Cruiser to appear random at second 114, but a minute only has 60 so the chances of anything coming from Mars were bigger
. Therefore just updated it to v1.14.Interesting! Did I understand correctly, how often a road car spawns can be set? Which parameter controls the spawn frequency?

You see a Golf more often in real life than, for example, a Lexus LS400 or Alfa Spider

Casa in the random asset selection I have some control over that.
The master random asset selection in the cars of the 90's asset uses the current second of your local time to select a model, the colour is a second randomization. So this gives me 60 'triggers', having fewer models I leverage that mechanism to indeed let the Golf appear more and the Lexus less. This is not setup you can just change, but build into the construction file.
First the time stamp is defined:
This can then be used as a dependency (like a parameter) like;
Codeand (bko_time_sec == "03" or bko_time_sec == "22" or bko_time_sec == "51" or bko_time_sec == "54" )For AI traffic it works different, it can be achieved with creating more models (mdl files) for e.g. a Golf versus a Lexus. Clearest example is the Swedish road traffic which has 4 models of the Volvo, therewith spawning these quite a bit more.

Thank you for the fast information

Started on a few cars for a next car pack. These have a higher mesh detail so will get a slightly different structure with an additional LOD.
To begin it I started with 3 Audi's, an A4, A6 and a TT.
-
And a Asset I hope.... lol
-
I'm not a fan of Audi cars, but they look very good...!
But won't the better looks affect the performance?

I expect not so much, the lod1 is much on a same level as the ones in the 90's pack approx. 20k tris, the additional lod will have about double but only is visible to ... 20 or 30m (not sure where I'll set it exactly). For AI traffic I'll probably won't use that additional lod, so performance should be ok still.
Biggest impact of the better looks should be reflected in the in-game Audi pricing

-
Man, again another great package upcoming! And again taking into account important factors like performance and LODs. Thanks!!!
-
The Audis look great

I wanted a TT at the end of the 90s, but it turned out to be a Golf station wagon. If you are still looking for new cars for the new mod, I would be happy about a Golf 4 Variant

More cars

BMW Z3, Seat Ibiza, Mitsubishi Eclipse and Ford Ka.
As all still fit in the 90's theme I'm thinking to add them to the 90's cars pack. Still plenty to do before they're done so plenty time to consider :).
Next up is a BMW 3 series and Smart car.

Very, very nice. And with classics like the ugly Ford Ka and BMW's Z3 (Z1 and Z4 were great, the Z3 .... naaahhhhh....).
