Transport Fever 2 on Mac mini won't run

  • Just purchased via Steam and installed. The game will start and I can navigate the startup screens. When I create a new game or campaign it will load the new game within a minute or two. Once it gets to starting the game itself the screen will immediately go black and it never returns from that state and I have to force kill the app. This is a completely new setup that has never worked. I tried deleting the shader cache which didn't help. I don't have an option to try OpenGL.

  • The build in graphics chip is your problem. The chip itself should be able to manage TPF2 in low settings. But you need at least 2GB VRAM and it seems to have no dedicated Memory. There is only shared memory and only 1,5GB.
