Hey there, I've just been a bit busy with other projects. But I don't quit projects, so ...
Here's an update for yall.

I do hope you will reduce the tri count a bit. If the whole waggon is that detailed you probably will end up with 300-500k Tris

I will first make a version as detailed as possible, then see how many I have and scale down. Also go hard on the LODs
The model isn't necessarily for TPF only, maybe I import it into a train sim too, which can handle a lot more.
Besides, by the time this is ready, tpf 3 will probably be out, which will also handle more I'm sure.

Turning right into the corridor
First door on the left is the lavatory, the second door is the steward's compartiment/service compartiment.
The door straight ahead of course leads to the compartiments.
