Hi, I'm new here in Transport Fever. I've picked up some mods for the game. I can easily activate them, but they are not in the game itself. I've tried to uninstall the game on STEAM and install it again. But Mods is still out of the game. So I do not know what blocks it. So, therefore, I hope that some of the forum members can help. Best regards Klaus
No mods in gameplay

Which game year are you in? The mods are usually not immediately available, maybe you just have not yet reached the start year of the mod.

Hey Nando I'm in 1980. Have just tried with the mods here: Gleise mit Betonschwellen für unter 200 km/h - Unimatrix' Gleispaket Gleispaket / Gleise mit Betonschwellen für Geschwindigkeiten zwischen 25 und 90 km/h Og only the two enabled. They also do not appear even though they should be available from 1965. And thanks for fast answer Nando

Can you Show us a screenshot from your ingame Mod Manager for that particularly savegame?
-
Hey Nando when you type "Mods Manager" is this Mods Manager you mean: TPFMM Public Beta I have NOT Mods Manager in my folder / game
-
He means the list in the main menu when starting a new game, where you can select which mods are used or the list in the load savegame dialog where you select the active mods for a particular savegame.

Hm... might you just take a screenshot of your mods-folder as well?
It's strange, that most mods are marked wirth three * although they are TpF Mods. -
Here is the sqreen shot of my mods folder

Tut mir lied meine schlechte deutsch Mfg Klaus

Hey @K4296, pleas go into one of the mods (especially one of those which are marked with *** in the ingame mod manager and navigate to the folder on the mod where a "mod.lua" file is present.
Then show us a screenshot of the folder of the mod.lua and the path at which this file is found. One question as well: How did you intall the mods?
-
I download the most of them from transport fever. net, and few from Steam Workshop. I will make the screen shot later, becourse Im not on the computer right now. Best regards Klaus
I forgot to mension, that I Have pick up the " Dma " mods direckly throw the Dma Site. Regards Klaus

Since he has most of the mods from the TPF-net, I also suspect that they have not been unpacked correctly, because the mod.lua, and thus the mod itself, is not read. For example, the «BR 218 Set» and the «Deutsche Bundesbahn Class 151 2.2», both from the Modwerkstatt. This two have no other mod folder inside the zip file. Therefore they have been installed correctly.

Ok I Will look at it later. Thanks for the advice. Regards Klaus

Yoshi I will deleted All the mods, and begin from scratch. Thanks for the advice Yoshi and all other. Regards Klaus
-
You don't have to delete them all. Just make sure, that the content (res-folder, mod.lua, ...) of each mod is one level under the mods-folder, not two
-
Just open each folder in the mod folder. If there ist a folder with the same name, copy it to a folder of your choice. Then delete the whole folder in the mod folder and copy back the folder from the folder of your choice to the mods folder. See Yoshi's example.
Edit: Instead of copy you can also move it. It's faster and easier for the file system.

Thanks maeni I will try that
