A little reminder about capacity in the metadata.

To get the correct capacity, take the capacity from the data sheet and multiply with 4.
    Example a bus that takes 85 passengers is coded as: 85 * 4 = 340
    capacity = 340
It can not be a decimal number because you can't load a fraction of a human :)

The following models use calculations that ends up in a decimal number:
    ks721.mdl
    ledvogne.mdl
    litt_a1_b19.mdl

Please calculate and insert the correct value into these models.

There is at the moment no internal report system to keep track of all problems found in a mod. Some problems do show a warning dialog that the mod is malformed.
I was actually just thinking about how to track these problems this morning :)

    Release 1.80.0.139 - 1442

    * Added units to vehicle information.
    * Added new setting under preferences: "Mark undefined strings"
    * Added scripted configuration UI to configure mods from within TFGM.
    * Fix. Strings not found in strings.lua returned empty instead of default value.
    * Fix. Progress dialog didn't updated the Title correctly.

The biggest news are the new scripted UI for mod configuration. No need to open Lua files and to change cryptic code... Just use the UI presented in the mod's configuration tab.
As a mod developer, you need to create the UI script to have it integrated into TFGM.

Updated mods with the new config UI will be released shortly.

After installing the nordic dlc the vehicle list of TGFM is not working any more. It shows the error "'51.5' is not a valid interger value" when I try to reload the vehicle list and the list stays empty.

This is a bug in TFGM. When you get the error "'...is not a valid integer value", try to restart TFGM.

It is on my list to fix...

For all mods not following this, of course it is possible to use a modified order of displaying a language: selected -> English -> fallback.
Meaning, that if the selected language is not available, first English is tested before falling back to the id.

    Have I missed something here?
Do you mean that Train Fever or Steam Client have a fallback language option?

I just wanted to point a common issue that I have seen.

In the model lua files, strings are commonly written in German. The problem with this is that if the local language isn't defined in the strings.lua (or the language file), it will be displayed in German. Since more people out there are familiar with English, they wouldn't understand a S#!t...

    name = _("Was bedeutet das?")

This is the String ID and will be displayed if the local language isn't defined in the strings.lua

Please write all the string ID:s in English and provide a german translation in the strings.lua. In this way any undefined language will be in English, not German. I'm sure there are people in here that can help out with German -> English translation if you feel unsure.

name = _("What does this mean?")

    Strings.lua
["What does this mean?"] = "Was bedeutet das?"

It will also be easier for us to translate your text to Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish.

I think I have decided what Litt D versions to include.

    Litt Ds and Dg
This was the first versions, Ds for passenger traffic and Dg for freight with different traction and max speed.

    Litt Da
This got a stronger motor and replaced both Ds and Dg. It had a higher speed and could do both Freight and passenger traffic.

Litt Dm2 (or Dm + Dm as it was actually named)
This was built from two modified Da (dm) engines used for freight.

    Litt Dm3 (or dm+dm3+dm)
Another modified Da engine (dm3) was placed in the middle

There are more D variations, but they were either experimental designs or bought/rebuilt from private companies.
The same engine was usually rebuilt over the years and got a new litt subtype.

Maybe There will be some more (Dk and Du) but they don't differ so much in look and performance so I think the listed engines above will cover the most important models in the Litt D history.

I'm working on the litt D serie. They all derive from the little Da and Dg. I'm breaking down the models so I can make all of them from the very first D to Dm3. The differences lay in the cabin, roof and speed. The Dm models are made of shortened litt D.

litt Oa was manufactured in Germany and one of the first electric engines in Sweden. later ASEA manufactured the Ob engine. These engines where manufactured between 1914 and 1915. The max speed was 60km/h.

@Xanos, The mail that confirmed the variable was sent from Basil 2015-09-21 with a copy to you.
But, no big deal, I have implemented the "Train-Fever.net DLC" format too, so now TFGM supports both ;)

@Xanos, you where included in the mail conversation with UG and didn't object at all at that point. I went on and implemented what was agreed upon from that conversation.
Then you decided to not follow what was agreed upon, and that is fine! But no one told me that this was changed and that is what bothers me, and I'm one of the DLC creators too! I would appreciate if I was included in the loop too, as I include you in format decisions/suggestions with UG...

Now, enough said about this, I just got a bit frustrated being left out.

No a mod can't be turned into a DLC (at this point) because each DLC's name has to be hard coded in TF.
The missing line was just a way to tell a mod manager that it needs to be installed as a DLC (different handling).
UG did open up for interpretation that it might be possible in the future to add DLC:s without hardcoding them into TF and for this, this single line would do the trick.
