People make like 6 mod converters from Train Fever to Transport Fever. But why they make the converter convert only from Train Fever to Transport Fever? The program knows the Train Fever packing and the Transport Fever packing. Can someone just make finnally universal mod converter what can convert mods from Train Fever to Transport Fever and Transport Fever to Train Fever? ![]()

I would prefer a converter from STL or other generic 3d formats to T(p)F files.
Or at least a documentation of the TpF .msh.blob file format, so I can program one on my own. I can't find any. Only answers I found were "it's binary, you should not edit it". Gnarz.

There is a major difference between converting forward (TF -> TPF) and backward (TPF -> TF):
Transport Fever contains almost every feature from Train Fever. There are only slight differences in the way how TPF took over these features (slightly different coding syntax mostly).Additionally Transport Fever contains many additional features that were NOT present at Train Fever at all.
All in all it is not possible to create an universal mod converter as there are nonconvertible features.

Small side note: It's unlikely that somebody gains motivation to fulfill your requests when you conclude your post with such angry smileys.

@Arby There are two .obj to .msh converters that do not rely on Blender...

Look at the game like a pice of railway track.
TF was just a track without any electrification. The vehicles run on steam or diesel.
Now TPF is an electrified railway and the vehicles are electric locomotives.Steam and diesel can drive just fine on the electrified tracks, on its own. They can be upgraded with fancy stuff but even if not, they will work.
The electric locomotive however will not move very far on the old tracks
You can place it there (meaning, the model can be loaded etc...), but in order to make it work, you need much more effort
This analogy is not perfect but the best I could come up with right now

To be honest: As someone who would be scheduled of back-porting mods from TPF to TF, I would rather give you the money to buy TPF instead of spending the time to change the mod or build a converter.

That already exists, is called Blender, which can import stl (and other 3D formats) and export with Merks converter as a TPF file.

Maybe i will start with manual mod converting.
I think it will be not too hard -
Did you actually read any of our posts?....
