Hello! Great mod, congratulations! Can I make an Egyptian Railways repaint of this mod? Apparently the ENR bought a bunch of them from the DDR in 1977, and remained more or less operational until 1997, although with great difficulties in following correct maintenance schedules. Standard repainting procedure will be followed. Thank you!
(Image of what they should have looked like back in the day included)

Hi,
As a general rule, I don't give explicit permissions for repaints, because in my opinion, an extra approval isn't necessary.
Since you only need your own MDL, MTL, and textures, you're of course free to create repaints of all my mods. That means your repaint will only contain files you've created yourself anyway. It's true that parts of my code remain in the MDL, but in the case of a vehicle, I don't consider that to be an issue. The only important thing is that the repaint must not be stand-alone. That means no original .msh files from my mods may be included in your repaint.
So, in short: yes, you're allowed to create repaints.
Best regards,
Grimes
