I did not say that it suddently worked. I said that I tested it back then. I'm pretty sure that it worked before that too.
It seems that it's not working for all types of Constructions (esp. Airports, Rail Stations).
"it only workes when modular" - don't think so because the vienna bridge asset is not modular.
Instead, I suspect upgrading only works, if the con is not modular.
Great job! So the airport will still be visible outside of map borders or you will decrease the render distance of terminals ect...? On top of that you will add people magnet = attraction?
Hey guys, on the topic of AIRPORTS... does anyone have experience with creating extra nodes and edges for passengers to wait ...? I'd love to know the formula for adding those as trying to increase passenger terminal capacity. Any way to pint me towards a source or an example?
Does increasing the width of the lane help? As far as I know, the capacity is calculated by length and width of the lane.
That would help enormously I just can't seem to figure out which number should I increase...

What am I missing? I see there are counts for person edges and nodes - how do you count those?

I just took a smaller sample. As you can see, these are always lines with 2 vectors of 3 values each and a single value behind.
As far as I remember, the first vector are the coordinates of the start point. The second vector is the tangent direction in that point. The number is the width of the lane in that point. The second row is the same for the end point of the first edge.
The other two lanes are another edge, this time with width 9.
For the other three values...
I'm not entirely sure though...

Back to the "storage" for Airplanes (I call it Airport outside the map):
The fundamentals are working. You can test it with this pre version.
Adding the station to a line is bit tricky: If the airport is too far away for the Render Distance to be visible (~6 km), open station list and locate it. If the airport is further away, this doesn't work anymore. Because of this, I hope to get the upgrade construction thing working, which means to make the airport nonmodular.
The bad news, I encountered a bug with simulation. Sometimes randomly, the simulation was like paused, everything stopped but Gui is responsive. After waiting a long time, suddenly simulation continues. I'm not sure at the moment, if this has something to do with the current beta.

Is this bug dependent on the side of the map the airport is built beyond? Could it be that the game runs into a problem when forced to handle (excessively) negative coordinates? If so, there must be two sides of the map (touching the same corner) that allow building the airport without any issues and two others touching the opposite corner that result in this issue.

Ok, dann ist das nicht wahrscheinlich.
Es tritt zufällig auf, aber nur gelegentlich, oft auch erst nachdem das Flugzeug schon einmal beim Flughafen im Nichts und dann wieder auf einem mit festem Boden war.
Ich hoffe, dass es ein temporäres Problem ist, da ja gerade eh an der Simulation geschraubt wird. Ich kann nicht sagen, ob es vor der Beta besser war, aber wenn ich bei einem kleinen Testsave auf 4x stelle, kommt es teils zu extremen Lags im Script Thread (siehe blauer Balken).
Dass es zu den Simulationslags kommt, weil/wenn die Berechnungen zu lange dauern, ist klar, aber diese unregelmäßigen Aussetzer (bis zu 10s) muss man mal in den Griff bekommen
