For the facility DAF in the new pack I'm opting for a Fendt design.
It's an old Schwarz bau truck that RossGarage has obtained and repainted for their needs
It fits nice to the T3, only a tractor on the load bed would really finish this off

PS I've been watching youtube videos of German cities in the 90's to spot some taxis here and there. I didn't see many I'll admit but none of the ones I noted had commercials on the side so I'll go for just plain beige. The suitable cars are abviously the 2 benzes, and maybe I'll throw in a Lexus.
Very nice, now only the matching FENDT tractors and combine harvesters are missing
Concluding on the German taxis tonight as well with the Lexus.
So there will be 2 C-class, 3 E-class and 1 LS400. Differences are minor of course as the main paint job is the same.
And since France will get the tuned Peugeot 406, I'm adding a Fahrschule Golf for Germany.
Very simple though, just another sign texture and moved the driver over to the co-driver seat. Without passengers that does look funny
Ah, so great! But a Lexus in the 90ies? Never saw one here. Only 2017 there was one in Berlin: https://www.motor-talk.de/news…ein-japaner-t6052592.html
The vast majority were Mercedes C- and E-class, some older S-class and a very few VW or Opel.
Nowadays the majority is still Mercedes while there is a bunch of VW and even a very few Teslas. The models might vary from city to city, but you are always right, when using Mercedes Taxis.
I'll leave the Lexus to the Dutch then
you could maybe let the driver switch sides depending if there is an passenger with the custom loads and the to hide option
The French taxi pack is done and uploaded;
A version for them in road traffic is also available. You can use either or both mods, the base pack Cars of the 90's is required.
Testing for the German taxis is done
It concluded to 3 mod's for Germany; Coming soon!
PS The Fahrshule Golf doesn't come as a 'bus', but in road traffic it works good.
Besides the instructor in the passenger seat it also has less power, so is slower, than a regular Golf. And you may see it driving a bit closer to the curb

...no way, you are kidding me
Hahahahahahha, you are so crazy but that's exactly what I love. Your mods are alwas so full of creativity and a slower driving "Fahrschule" Golf close to the curb?! That's so cool!
But one question: I don't get the difference of the two Taxi packs (two for French and two for Germany). Is one package at a time for KI and one for my "bus" menu and assets?

Yes the the first pack is the asset and 'bus'. As maybe not everyone wants the KI traffic that is separated. So my Road traffic packs are the KI Verkehr, without asset and bus. These can be run with or without the regular taxi packs as long as you have the Cars of the 90's base mod.
Nice work dview! Do you have other roadcars under work or planned? Asking because I've been thinking to make similar packages but wouldn't want to start or make anything you've already going on

Yes more will be coming, not sure what/when is going to be the first, but I have plenty to choose from ... maybe some cars from late 90's/early 00's... looking at some Ferrari's... but also some more trucks are on my list and perhaps a few buildings to accompany it all. I think I have more ideas than time
So basicly don't let me hold you down, some models that are (early stage) WIP on my side include Audi A4, A6, Range Rover Sport, Audi Avus, BMW Z3, Toyota Landcruiser and probably I'm forgetting a few.
Let's keep aligned on what is being built and prevent duplicates or offer senseable diversity, I mean for example a 3door Golf3 or Volvo 850 Estate would still be good additions.
🙌🎉🎊🎇🍻
And your T5s as well?!
Volvo F12 is already under work, time is the issue on my side too but I want to finish it as soon as possible. VW T5's are already done for TPF2 and they are available in my Steam Workshop. I should upload them here too for those who cannot use the Workshop of course.
I could start a thread here so it would be easier to keep up what I'm doing too
Some Dutch taxis will feature the large sign, I have reworked it and think I'm close enough to the real thing.
berkhofsolaris what do you think yellow or blue plates? The blue were introduced not before 2000 though.
