Hey there. Seems we found an Error/Bug with my last Mod while testing it. I have a bundle of Mods packed into ONE zip. So there are 6 single Mods with 6 folders, 6 luas and and and but when someone installs it, there is only one lua in the first package, the other luas get ignored/deleted. And i would prefer to offer this mod with only a single zip so the ppl dont need to download a bunch of files.
Would this be possible?
This isn't an official mod format and there are no Guidelines from UG on how to handle this correctly.
It is a little bit more complicated to handle this than it first seems.
Can you send me a link to your mod so I can have a look at the structure and come up with something. (you can send me a link in PM if you don't wont to share it here).

Note. The mod update feature is only a qualified guessing because there is no "foolproof" way to identify a specific file and its version.
TFGM is trying to find and identify each mod in the catalog based on several parameters such as file name, mod name, version etc...
The new "link" features makes it possible register a folder with mod source files. These files are automatically copied to the TF installation
when starting TF from TFGM, or if you manually install it as a mod. This will "protect" your originals from being removed by accident (when uninstalling a mod).

Strange things happen since update to build 1368.
Im using Win7 64-bit.
If i execute tfgm it wont open. It just creates 3 processes.
These processes are not killable for me. I tried it with Task-Manager, Process-Explorer and a cmd command with Admin (taskkill /PID xxxx /T /F.
A reboot is the only way.
When i execute tfgm in a sandbox-mode it starts fine and creates only 1 process.
I´ve deleted all files (including those files in USER/documents/.. and /AppData/..) and reloaded the whole package with same result.
In case you need more information, screens or something else, please let me know.
That sounds really strange, I'm using Win7 64bit too.
I just released a new version, maybe it has corrected itself
I know that I once had a problem with a third party game overlay, preventing TFGM from starting. Try to disable any third party gaming software to see if it helps.

Sounds cool
Ive got the same issue with the newest build. But i think i found the reason.
The thread was suspended by "unsecapp.exe", a background process and part of Windows Management Instrumation (WMI).
Its possible that its courrupted or something. When i´ve found a solution ill let you know.
Edit:
My first guess was wrong. unsecapp.exe had nothing to do with the issue.
My next guess was it was caused by "Alternate data streams (ADS)" so I deleted it. But tfgm still wasnt starting.
I spent hours looking for the reason. I even upgraded to Win10.
But then i deavtivated Avast and it worked. For some reason tfgm was suppressed.
Sometimes its the easy way you cant find.

I have some troubles with the latest version, update didn't work, so I removed the hole and downloaded the latest zip. But I can't extract it, 7zip, WinRAR and Windows 10 itself says unknown compression algorithm on the exe files, the manual (pdf file) works.
It works for me, WinRAR 5.20 extracts it without problem.
EDIT: No it doesn't, I should have tried to actually extract and not only display it...
There is a problem with the files TFGMLoader.exe and unrar.dll, according to the program they cannot be extracted due to a "damaged file".
Windows Explorer has the same problem, but the error message is even less specific.
TFGM does'nt install the Nordic-DLC to the right folder (DLC) it is installed to /mods and then it doesn't work. Is this a error from TFGM or the Nordic-DLC?

The archive may bee corrupt, it happens some times. I will repack and post it agan later tonight when I get home.

TFGM installs the DLC according to the format an priciples that was agreed with UG and Basil Weber. Unfortuneatly, Train-Fever.net decided to ignore this and refuses to add the one single line to the info.lua that will make it work according to the agreed format.
I have to rewrite TFGM's DLC detection and install system to make it work.
I have repacked, uploaded, downloaded, unpacked and tested, it should work now...

No thats not possible. Thats why we choose to not integrate such an entry. The nordic-DLC is hardcoded to the game by Urban Games.
