SLT!!

Nice work!
I made the SLT a few years ago for 3D printing:
http://i.imgur.com/UMTbGkP.jpgI think your version looks really good however the front looks a bit too smooth?

Wow, you've got a very nice model there as well! About my previous shot; I think it's mainly the TF Model Viewer giving of a very stretched perspective. This is de orthographic side view like in your second shot:

My model does have some issues though. It's very hard to get the angles exactly right. Especially the "in between" angles like a 45 degrees front view. And of course I have a lot of detailing yet to do. -
^Great work you guys are doing here seeing some other trains than the german ones we get here all the time
I look forward to see some more stuff from you in the near futurecheers
-
Sadly that is not possible without modifying SpoorObjecten's original models or making my own.In the meantime I've been working on another train based on the 'streamline' design; DE2 also known as the "blue angel" (although this is the red livery, I'm also making it in the original blue and the Plan X modernized version)

Are you planning to make the ICmm "Koploper also?.. -
Been reworking the stadler flirt models for the Veolia trains (Stadler GTW 2/6). First time trying this, so the rework might be a bit sloppy. Here's an Image:

Uploading as soon as the author of the original model gives permission to do so.

looks very nice i know i ride it very often.
only i hate veolia in rush hour they have this train so you always have no space to sit or to stand -

I like it i see those trains almost every day (Arriva version) are you also bringing a ariva version of it when it is finished
-
Have permission and upload request is pending :D. Yes I can also make an Ariva version if you have some pictures. I might add the GTW 2-8 version as well (the one with an extra passenger wagon).
Oh and those trains can be horrible during rush hour indeed.
-
I think the greatest problem with these trains is that they are short and therefore used especially for commuting services, however they have way to less doors in order to handle the amount of commuting people wanting to board and disembarking the trains. Not the best design if you ask me
-
Yeah, the times I've been in one was because of a disruption in a different line, causing them to be too full. Most of the time the aisle in the back of the train was empty while near the door it felt like being in a box of sardines. Also people are unsure if they can walk through the engine block to the other passenger wagon.
Modern train, but some design problems in busy situations... the toilet alone takes almost quarter of the wagons space.

@Cookiestomper http://www.train-fever.net/gal…UpdateTime&sortOrder=DESC Here do you have some pictures of the Stadler GTW from Arriva

Uploading as soon as the author of the original model gives permission to do so.The repaint looks great, but are you making the textures slightly transparent? On the picture the light areas look a bit odd...
By the way, NS also ordered Stadler to build Sprinter flirts but unfortunately the nose is a bit different...
P.S.: There is a dutch repaint thread, since this thread (because it is in the Modded Vehicles section) is not the appropriate one to post about repaints...
-
I've noticed. I think it is because there are still artifacts from the previous paintjob left. I havn't figured out to remove those yet. Nothing should be transparent, though i can take a look at the alpha channel of the textures

Great work on your Stadler man, I was waiting for these dutch Flirts, Hope to see an Arriva Spurt version too! Great job!!
-
i hope someone wants to model the DD-AR from the NS. Because this train is since this month in service again
-
Working on another train now. Free virtual cookies to the first person to guess which train this is

And yup, it is currently operated by the NS
-
I'm not an expert on dutch trains but for what I know NS only operates Sprinter and Intercity lines, both not served by what looks like a high speed trains.
High speed trains are operated by NS International (which of course is a subdivision of NS), which rolling stock includes Thalys, V250 and of course the some of the ICE 3M. Based on the look of the picture I would guess it's the ICE.
