Jedes Gut oder jede Einheit? Ich transportiere nämlich nur Rohöl und öl. Keine Passagiere.
by chance I came to this thread and started reading the content. Since it's been a while since the last post and that I will soon upgrade my computer, I thought, why not test some performance on the old one first.
I chose a DAF 55 truck made by dview that was currently in the picture and clicked on AltGr + i, when the truck has been loaded, the marked bar speeds up and the fps number decreases a lot. This is compared with the vanilla truck which may have the same condition (loaded with goods) and shows no heavy computer load.
The stack arrives at the moment when the DAF truck is marked and loaded with goods, as soon as it is unloaded, the stack drops and thus better performance.
Is there anyone who can figure out what's going on?
I've just tested the situation, nothing happens to me, the bar stays at the minimum, no matter which truck (DAF, Vanailla, Volvo MN16) and no matter what load state.
The DAF probably has cargoBay definitions for all models (also closed ones), unlike the Urban E-Truck.
What does it look like for a vehicle with visible Goods? Or goods models at a station?
The DAF has visible goods... maybee its better to take a look at the model first before making wild assumptions?
melectro thanks!
It makes sense the DAF is heavier on performance when loaded compared to when not loaded also if you compare it to a standard vanila vehicle.
The reason for that is quite simple, there are 10 cargo compartments.
GOODS is one of the most detailed/heaviest cargos for the DAF, each compatment then has 15layers of 6 boxes each, => 900 boxes for a full truck.
e.g. COAL is much cheaper, that will show one item for every compartment, so maxes to 10.
In my opinion the vehicle being able to carry a lot of different small items at the same time is what makes it suitable for distribution. I would have liked to add more compartments, but felt this was a reasonable middle way.

That's right in general.
But it's right that there are open and closed variants? At least from the shown picture, I can't see visible goods.

The goods for the DAF can only be seen when the doors are opened during (un-)loading.
The game doesn't know that so it will still make the calculations whether or not show the goods while the vehicle is driving.

Isn't it typically that I randomly select a vehicle for my test and it was loaded with the heaviest type of goods to be rendered?
dview your answer also explained why my map is lagging when I look on railway stations with goods picked from a train and remaining units aren't rendered as big block.
I have installed the cargoLod mod and at a distance above the visibility limit for Lod0 (visibleTo = 47) where goods should only be rendered with 10 tris, I can not see any difference in performance when the DAF truck is selected. The goods is still creating a high peak on performance.
I have noted that the goods icons standing at the warehouse are more than the load in a truck and they don't lower the performance. I think this is more and more strange.

Try just to place the mouse cursor on the truck after it has been loaded with goods and I can also confirm that the Volvo MN16 (logs) do not cause any bad performance.
Hallo ,
meine Fahrzeuge auf der Map ruckeln auch alle .Wie kann ich es beheben ?
