NS Mat '46 and more!

Hi all,

New to the community not new to the game, been playing for several years now and i've always found myself missing a certain dutch train and i decided...welp...i'll do it myself.

i've got plenty of 3d modelling experience, especially with star trek modding. (Some might know me as Max from the star trek armada 3 and ages of the Federation mod) however porting to TF2 is new to me so i might have to lean on a few of you guys to help me out.

Just finished the Pantograph, if anyone has any comments and critiques, feel free to post them.

My goal with this train is to do the 2 Section and 4 section versions. Going to try to get close to the real livery in a few variations.

MaikC, you are correct! Also hey man have a lot of your mods installed! great work!

I tried to correct the windows a bit but thats hard once its been cut into like this. Results got pretty decent. Also a small update!

Bogey Mostly complete, going for the Coupling at the front next.

Some more progress, mesh is mostly done. Time to UV!

Base UV done, texturing has begun.

Added some dirt and grime, finalized details.

Gonna need some help to get this thing ingame.

The NS 1500 is on my list to do, but first i want to make the 4 car variant of this one after i get it ingame!

And my favorite variation of the Mat 46 paint job.

Is there a comprehensive guide somewhere for porting a model to the game?

I appreciate the effort but I'm no good with the German language.

Also now the Green variant with blue commercial Bands!

Also the final variant for now! the Yellow one. Which in reality was only available on the 2 Carriage variant, but i will be making a 4 carriage variant with it.

nsicng, I dont have a patreon as of this moment, and i may eventually want to do the different coaches, but for now i wanted to keep it simple. While ive got over 10 years of 3d modelling experience it is mostly in doing star trek/wars ships. I have very little experience in real life objects. Also i found that finding sources for trains to be really hard to find.
