i dont think that will be the case
15 of the vehicles in that DLC are community-made
Well, i don't think that the BR 44 is included in the USA DLC
But if there is any mod in the DLC you also have installed on your PC, just look (when it's released ["edited" by @GorgeousCreep]) which mods are actually in that DLC. Then you can see if they would overwrite existing mods. But i don't think so. If they don't overwrite existing mods, you can keep both.
Ingame using the DLC you see which mod you have twice and then i would deinstall the mod version.
Be careful with that i don't know what savegames do if there misses any mod...
It's only a problem if the mod and the new train from DLC have exact the same name in the file structure. If not (different filenames)... you maybee just have the same vehicle two times that may looks a bit different.
Maybe they defined a new Variable for ex.:
Content = US or EU or <empty>
which will make vehicles, buildings etc. avaiable in US Scenario EU Scenario or Empty both Scenarios...
Maybe they defined a new Variable
I asked that during the interview with Mikael and he meant that there will be a new file in which all available models for the selected area are listed. So the .mdl files won't change i think.
My TFGM inventory already number 73 mods.
Only? Excuse me, but hat's not very much compared to others for example @CoasterJunky
So current infos from Urban Games [Blockierte Grafik: http://ftp.train-fever.net/flaggen/gb.png]:
There were 2 possibilies:
more (official) informations will be comming soon!
Original Text [Blockierte Grafik: http://ftp.train-fever.net/flaggen/de.png]:
Vor you can just use one of the mod managers to upgrade to the new mod system once available.
Don't Panic!
So far all mod changes have been backwards compatible, you'll be able to continue your old games.
