Nujo, man kann auch den Innenraum seperat mappen. So extrem detailliert wird das Innenleben wohl nicht ausgebaut werden müssen, dass es da Ultra-Texturen bedarf Zudem wäre das in Bezug auf @baubus Sorge garnicht mal schlecht. Macht man aus dem Innenleben eine Group die man easy einfach austauschen kann. Samt Textur.

Absolutely agree. With old models (made for Train Fever) I'd would map the interior to a separate texture. That way the old textures can be re-used with a minimum of work.
It hardly means extra work: if the modellers want interior on their old models, they are obliged to map those parts anyway. To make the filestructure that would accommodate that "extra" texture is hardly extra work - especially in comparison with the mapping.
If a modeller is going to reshape the old texture template, that would mean that I would be forced to completely reshape my textures. That may not be as much work as to completely start over, but there's not a lot of difference.
Furthermore, squeezing those parts in an existing template, almost always means decreasing the size of other parts within that template. That would be a shame: the smaller part, the less detail I can create. This becomes increasingly important because of the phased weathering and the option to swap textures ingame.
So, in short:
Map the interior to separate texture files. That way old models can be converted far more quickly without loss of detail.
