. Am I spelling the wrong word again? ? ?
The word "Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof". . I searched on Wikipedia and it looks like this word is also spelled like this. . .
Or do I need to modify it? ?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/…nibusbahnhof_M%C3%BCnchen

@hugedragonyk maybe they call it like that because that building was made in times of omnibus
-
@hugedragonyk In my opinion your choosen 'Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof' is correct.
-
There are two ways of writing this. Either "Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof" or, to somewhat improve legibility, "Zentraler Omnibus-Bahnhof". The hyphen between Omnibus and Bahnhof cannot be omitted. While this would be a fairly common mistake in German, chopping up composite words not only makes a language purist itch but also may result in fairly funny changes to the intended meaning. Compare "24 Monate ohne Grundgebühr" and "24 Monate ohne Grund Gebühr". The former means "24 months without basic fee", while the latter says "Unfounded fees for 24 months"...
In order to cause maximum confusion, "Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof" can also be abbreviated to "ZOB", which is a slightly old-fashioned, but still not uncommon name for such a facility.

Es gibt noch eine ZOB-Variante. Der Berliner ZOB am Stuttgarter Platz

i never seen that they call it like omnibusbahnhof in austria or switzerland. maybe its only in germany. you know they are a bit crazy

https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/…Chur_Postautostation3.jpg
Bahnhof Chur mit Postautostation
as you can see in city of Chur in Switzerland they call it Postautostation. -
So we are crazy? Ever tried to enter a post-car in germany?
-
it looks great

There is no reason to be afraid about Germany. It is safe compared to other countries and the highest thread in everyday life (at least in my Point of view) is according to the location either pickpocketers or drunk people. But before we start a further discussion About public security, can we turn back to the topic?
I think, that the short form ''ZOB'' can be used for the bus station. -
"Postautostation" it is only called in Chur an Bern, as the "Postauto", what is a "brand of buses" which are in the whole Switzerland on routes, are having dedicated Plattforms and are seperated to the local buses in the City.
I would say, in Switzerland there is not really a "Name" for such Bus-Terminals, as simply, we don't have it... Long distance buses are stopping in some Citys at a CarPark, in other ones out of the center on a gravel yard, in other ones in a parking area anywhere else... There aren't busterminals, as there are in Germany, with for e.g. München ZOB or Berlin ZOB.
So I would just call it, "Fernbus", "Bus Station", "Fernbus Station"... speciall for the Germans you can obviously also make "ZOB" or for the Swiss PostAutoFans (but we have only local Postautos from Seamon, no long distance onces unfortunatelly) also "Postauto Station"
But you know what would be the crazyiest - but I don't think this works... - if it would display the name of the Stop in the game, so everyone could name it, as they want
